On May 13, 2025, recruitment leaders, talent acquisition leaders and HR-professionals gathered at Grand Hotel Karel V in Utrecht for “The Future of Recruitment,” hosted by Werf&. The event focused on how generative AI is transforming the recruitment landscape and how organisations can reimagine work to stay future-ready. Glen Cathey and Samantha Schlimper from Randstad Enterprise led a hands-on session on applying generative AI in talent acquisition, from creating job analyses to content for social media. Participants explored real-life use cases and discussed the opportunities and challenges of integrating AI into recruitment strategies. In a second interactive workshop, attendees learned how to break down work into tasks and skills—an approach known as pixelation—to increase agility and innovation. The day was filled with insightful discussions, practical tools, and networking with fellow HR leaders. It offered a forward-looking perspective on the rapidly changing world of work.
